Our program has been started

The CCF’s latest project to help local politicians and NGOs work together on important local issues. The program, supported by the National Endowment for Democracy, aims to help local government representatives who want to make a difference and take action locally, and to promote the involvement of civil society organizations.

In the first round, 9 representatives from 6 municipalities in Budapest and Pest County will start their work. At our first meeting, we started mapping the most important local issues, which will be carried out through a participatory process involving local residents.

Please follow the Local Democracy Hub for future updates and keep your fingers crossed that we can start the process of creating or amending regulations in as many places as possible on important issues such as climate and green issues, housing, transport, and improving the quality of services, etc
