CTF conducted a two-day workshop for 12 representatives of local NGOs

 It was extremely important to us that the knowledge gained could quickly and realistically improve the competence of those involved in local NGOs. During the two-day workshop, the method of community organizing (CSO) was discussed, in particular social campaigns, exerting social pressure, and building a strong grassroots organization. A great advantage of the training was the diversity of the group, which included veteran NGO activists and those at the beginning of their careers. A great participant was also a retiree, who engaged dozens of people from her neighborhood to crochet together, during which they create, among other things, hats and gloves for people in need. The workshop covered the following topics: introduction to community organizing, the process of listening and recruiting people for social action, running grassroots campaigns, and building a group.
